Job summary

The Good Human (Pty)Ltd in South Africa seeks an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead a comprehensive department within hospitality and gambling operations. You will manage budgeting, procurement, policy implementation, and strategic growth initiatives.

Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of management experience in F&B, strong financial analysis skills, CMS and reporting experience, and exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Matric (NQF 4) qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years' management experience in F&B.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong financial analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with CMS and report writing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with hospitality or gambling sector operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Food and Beverage department, including budgeting, financial analysis, and management systems.
• Access and implement human resource policies and legislative requirements.
• Source and purchase stock using the latest technology and regulations.
• Develop and implement concepts, policies, procedures, and strategies for the department.
• Ensure quality assurance of supplies, storeroom, and cold storage.
• Manage contractual arrangements and foster effective interdepartmental cooperation.
• Generate increased revenue from existing business and proactively attract new opportunities.
