Placements24 is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager for a prestigious hotel and conference center in Pretoria, Gauteng. This high-impact leadership role oversees all culinary and beverage operations across fine dining, banqueting, and room service, driving revenue while maintaining top quality and service standards.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in F&B management (3+ in leadership) with strong financial acumen, PMS and POS experience, and a passion for hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Food & Beverage management, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience managing multiple F&B outlets within a hotel environment is preferred.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service.
• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs aligned with market trends and customer preferences.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability and cost control across F&B operations.
• Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to foster a culture of excellence and superior service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol licensing regulations in Pretoria.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development for F&B staff.
