Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in a similar industry to join our clients’ team in South Africa.

You will introduce, promote and sell products to established customers, actively seek new business opportunities, maintain territory and provide product demonstrations. The role requires a matric and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a proven track record in a similar industry.
• Introduces, promotes and sells products and services to established customers.
• Actively seeks new business opportunities and continually develops new customers while supporting existing customers.
• Maintain sales and services within assigned territory.
• Actively keep customers informed of new products – provide demo’s to promote new products.
• Sell other services such as spares, repairs and equipment hire to customers – assess customer needs.
• Negotiate upfront deposits from new customers on builds.
• Submit monthly report on customer visits and activities performed.
• Submit sales projections for orders in the pipeline at month-end.
• Ensure that sales targets are met.
• Assist finance department with debtors collections.
