Job summary

Danté Personnel Recruitment is seeking an External Sales Representative (Construction) for the Western Cape, based in Epping. The role offers a monthly basic salary with commission and negotiable earnings depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a Matric certificate, a valid driver's license (preferably EB or above), and at least 5 years of proven sales experience in a similar industry. You will manage existing customers and actively pursue new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• Driver's license is required (preferably Code: EB or above).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a proven track record in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Introduce, promote and sell products and services to established customers.
• Actively seek new business opportunities and continually develop new customers while supporting existing customers.
• Maintain sales and service within the assigned territory.
• Actively inform customers of new products and provide demos to promote new products.
• Sell other services such as spares, repairs and equipment hire to customers and assess their needs.
• Negotiate upfront deposits from new customers on builds.
• Submit monthly reports on customer visits and activities performed.
• Submit sales projections for orders in the pipeline at month-end.
• Ensure that sales targets are met.
• Assist finance with debtors collections.
