Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Export Coordinator to support compliant export operations, coordinating cross-functional activities to move goods to various countries in line with regulatory rules.

The role focuses on HS code accuracy, pre-shipment inspections, pre-export verifications, and documentation management, ensuring efficient customs clearance and adherence to the SARS processes.

Qualifications

• Export, customs clearance and coordination experience (4–6 years)
• Administrative skills (1–3 years)
• Order processing (1–3 years)
• Relevant export experience (1–3 years)
• Documentation skills (1–3 years)
• Compliance knowledge (1–3 years)
• Software proficiency (1–3 years)
• Customer service exposure (1–3 years)
• B-Tech degree in Administration and/or Supply Chain Management essential
• Certifications such as CITP/ECoP/customs broker (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Apply HS codes for customs and facilitate clearance
• Coordinate pre-shipment inspections and compliance verifications
• Organise pre-export verification of conformity for country-specific standards
• Prepare customs documentation with clearing agents
• Maintain product master data in the Process Assist system linked to SARS
• Assist with PHYTO sanitary certificate applications for plant-based exports
• Support POD management and ensure export documentation availability
• Adhere to Export SOPs for consistent and efficient operations
• Ensure accurate customer order processing with Exports Coordinator
• Maintain data accuracy for regulatory and customer requirements
