About the Role

Our client, a prestigious global recruitment firm, is looking for a highly accomplished Executive Recruitment Consultant with specialized expertise in the Financial Services sector to join their distinguished practice in Centurion, Gauteng . This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels at identifying and placing C-suite and senior-level talent within banking, investment, insurance, and FinTech industries. You will be responsible for managing high-stakes executive searches, building trusted advisor relationships with clients, and contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities

Conduct retained executive search assignments for senior leadership positions within the financial services industry. Develop comprehensive search strategies, including direct sourcing, networking, and leveraging executive databases. Build and maintain an extensive network of senior-level contacts within the financial services ecosystem. Partner with clients to deeply understand their organizational culture, strategic objectives, and leadership requirements. Conduct rigorous candidate assessment, including executive interviewing, reference checking, and psychometric evaluations. Manage the entire executive search process from initiation to successful onboarding of placed executives. Provide expert market intelligence and insights to clients regarding executive talent trends and compensation. Mentor and develop junior consultants on the executive search team. Represent the firm professionally at industry events and conferences. Ensure confidentiality and integrity throughout all search processes.

Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in executive search, with a strong focus on the Financial Services sector. Demonstrated success in completing complex, senior-level mandates. Exceptional networking capabilities and a proven ability to attract passive candidates. Strong understanding of the financial services landscape, including regulatory environments and market dynamics. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, suitable for engaging with C-suite executives. Proficiency with executive search databases and talent intelligence tools. A strategic mindset with strong business development acumen. Ability to thrive in a Hybrid work environment, balancing office presence with remote productivity. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Unquestionable ethical standards and commitment to client service.
