Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join the leadership team in East London, Eastern Cape. You will align HR strategy with business goals, drive performance, engagement, and organizational design, partnering with senior leaders across the site.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years HRBP experience, a Masters in HRM or related field, and strong knowledge of SA labour law. Automotive/manufacturing sector experience is a strong advantage, with a focus on strategic HR partnering.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HRM, MBA, or related field.
• 8+ years HR experience with senior HRBP exposure.
• Proven ability to align HR with business strategy.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law.
• Automotive/manufacturing sector experience desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with senior leadership to develop and implement integrated HR strategies that align with business objectives.
• Drive organizational development initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and compensation strategies.
• Lead and manage change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and adoption.
• Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and culture.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and regulations.
• Mentor and develop HR team members, fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
• Act as a trusted advisor and coach to managers and employees on HR topics.
