Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned HR Manager to lead the Human Resources department in Mossel Bay. This executive role oversees HR functions, designs strategies, and drives organizational effectiveness while managing a skilled HR team.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate HR or related degree, 7–10 years of progressive HR experience including 3+ years in management, and strong knowledge of South African labour law.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• 7–10 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and industrial relations best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations and compliance.
• Lead, mentor and grow the HR team to foster a high-performance culture.
• Ensure adherence to SA labour laws and mitigate HR risks.
