• Conduct regular room inspections and quality audits.
• Coordinate daily room allocations with the Front Office team.
• Ensure rooms are prepared on time for guest arrivals and departures.
• Recruit, train and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and allocate daily duties.
• Monitor staff performance and maintain high levels of productivity and morale.
• Manage housekeeping inventory, linen, guest amenities and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor stock levels, minimize wastage and assist with cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hotel operating procedures.
• Respond professionally to housekeeping-related guest requests.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) essential.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar hotel housekeeping leadership role.
