Placements24 is seeking an Executive Hotel Manager in Pietermaritzburg to lead daily operations and drive profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage all hotel departments, mentor leaders, and implement strategic plans to ensure service excellence and financial targets are met. A senior leader role requires a strong track record and SA work authorization.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in hotel management with at least 3 in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing hotel ops and achieving financial targets.
• Strong understanding of hospitality trends and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and standard business apps.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Oversee all hotel departments: Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing, Maintenance.
• Mentor department heads to foster a productive work environment.
