Qualifications

7+ years progressive culinary experience, including Executive/Head Chef in fine-dining.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Experience with menu costing and recipe development.
Authorized to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all kitchen operations with focus on service flow.
Develop innovative and seasonal menus, including daily specials, with cost controls.
Source ingredients from reputable suppliers and manage inventory.
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Control food costs and manage kitchen budgets to hit profitability targets.
Collaborate with Front of House for seamless guest experience.
Manage staff schedules and disciplinary actions as needed.
