About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Production Manager to oversee the planning and execution of diverse events within the Arts & Entertainment sector in Centurion . This role requires a proactive individual with a knack for logistics, creative problem-solving, and stakeholder management. You will be responsible for bringing creative visions to life, ensuring seamless production from conception to completion, managing all technical aspects, budgets, and on-site operations. This is a critical position for someone passionate about creating memorable live experiences and driving project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event production, including stage design, lighting, sound, AV, and technical requirements.
• Develop and meticulously manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, artists, and technical crews to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee on-site event operations, troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure a smooth experience for attendees and talent.
• Develop detailed production schedules and run sheets, communicating effectively with all involved parties.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations for all events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Production Manager or in a similar event management role, preferably within Arts & Entertainment .
• Strong understanding of event logistics, technical production elements (AV, lighting, staging), and project management methodologies.
• Excellent budget management and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Relevant degree or certification in Event Management, Theatre Production, or a related field is a plus.
