Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator for a hybrid role in Rustenburg. You will manage the timely delivery of catering equipment, supplies and staff, connecting kitchen, sales, and events teams to ensure flawless event execution.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics or events, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with logistics software and MS Office. Occasional remote planning is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain or event coordination.
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules and multiple operations.
• Strong inventory and fleet coordination knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in logistics software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate transport of equipment, supplies, and staff to events.
• Manage inventory of catering equipment; ensure items are ready for deployment.
• Liaise with clients, venues, and internal teams to confirm delivery times.
• Develop efficient routes to optimize time and costs.
• Oversee loading/unloading of vehicles; ensure safe handling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues before, during, or after events.
• Maintain records of deliveries, returns, and equipment status.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely supplies.
• Enforce safety procedures for vehicle operation and handling.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes.
