About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the burgeoning Hospitality & Tourism sector with a specialization in wine tourism, is seeking a vibrant and organized Event Coordinator to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape . This role will focus on the planning, execution, and promotion of a variety of events, including wine tastings, harvest festivals, vineyard tours, and corporate functions. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing all logistical aspects, coordinating with vendors, liaising with clients, and ensuring successful event outcomes. We are looking for an individual with a passion for wine, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage events from conception to completion. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for event execution.
• Must be based in or able to commute effectively to Paarl, Western Cape .
• A relevant qualification in Event Management or Hospitality is advantageous.
