Placements24 seeks a highly organized Project Manager for a premier wine estate in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role is contract-based with hybrid work, coordinating wine tourism projects from concept to delivery.

You will work with internal teams and external artisans to elevate guest experiences in luxury hospitality. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management within hospitality or tourism, strong planning, budgeting, and stakeholder communication skills, and a passion for wine

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of wine tourism initiatives and enhancements.

About the Role

Our client, a prestigious wine estate and hospitality group, is seeking a highly organized and creative Project Manager to lead exciting new developments within their wine tourism offerings. This role is instrumental in enhancing the guest experience and expanding the estate's appeal as a premier destination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with specific experience in hospitality, tourism, or event management, and a passion for the wine industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, planning, and execution of various projects, such as new tasting room designs, visitor center upgrades, unique guest experiences, and promotional campaigns. The position is based in the picturesque winelands region of Stellenbosch, Western Cape , a world-renowned center for viticulture and tourism. We are looking for an innovative individual who can manage timelines, budgets, and collaborate effectively with internal teams, local artisans, and service providers. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen sense of aesthetics, and the ability to deliver exceptional results within the hospitality context. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the hospitality, tourism, or luxury brand sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of event planning, facility development, or experience design.
• Passion for wine, food, and the tourism industry.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
