Qualifications

• Grade 12 is essential.
• Minimum 5 years sales experience, ideally in equipment hire/mining/construction.
• Valid Code B or EB driver's license is essential.
• Own vehicle is essential.
• Knowledge of construction and equipment advantageous.
• Computer literacy essential.
• Good English communication skills; local languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle walk-in, phone, and online enquiries to identify equipment hire needs.
• Process hire contracts and documentation on the store system.
• Meet or exceed monthly revenue and new customer targets.
• Make outbound calls and visits to generate new business and leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and customers.
• Cross-sell additional equipment and services.
• Resolve customer queries promptly, escalating when needed.
• Keep knowledge of the equipment fleet up to date.
• Submit reports for the sales function.
• Support store presentation and housekeeping.
