Job summary

MiWay, the direct insurer in the Sanlam group, offers an IT Desk Support internship at the Kosmosdal office. The role targets students and recent IT graduates beginning their IT careers, with supervision and no prior corporate IT experience required.

Applicants should have an IT-related diploma or degree; Jira Service Management will be used to log and track tickets, while equipment is prepared for reuse and IT guides are updated regularly.

Qualifications

• National Diploma (NQF 6) or degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Networking or related field.
• No previous corporate IT experience required.
• CompTIA A+/N+, Microsoft or ITIL courses are an advantage (not required).

Responsibilities

• Help users with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
• Set up desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers.
• Assist with password resets and account changes under guidance.
• Log and update support tickets in Jira Service Management.
• Issue, record and prepare IT equipment for reuse.
• Help update IT guides and weekly reports.
