Job summary
Placements24 in South Africa seeks an experienced Telecommunications Sales Specialist to drive enterprise revenue. You will identify opportunities, develop strategic plans, and close deals across a broad range of telecom products and services.
You will work with pre-sales engineers and account managers, build lasting client relationships, travel as needed, and enjoy a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission within a dynamic, growth-focused team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or related field required.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in telecommunications or tech preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of telecom products and services; cloud, networks, fiber is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales leads and enterprise opportunities.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and understand client needs.
- Present solutions and proposal materials to clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet quotas.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and account teams for tailored solutions.
- Maintain pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.
