Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate HR Officer to lead and evolve the Employee Wellness Program in Klerksdorp, North West. You will design, implement and manage wellness initiatives that improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being across the workforce.

The role requires 3–5 years HR experience in wellness, excellent communication, and the ability to engage with employees and management in a confidential, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, social work or related field.
• 3–5 years HR experience with focus on wellness, EAP or health promotion.
• Knowledge of wellness trends, mental health awareness and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive employee wellness strategy and events calendar.
• Coordinate wellness activities such as health workshops and stress management programs.
• Liaise with EAP providers and external service providers.
• Manage confidential employee health records and ensure privacy compliance.
• Track program effectiveness using metrics and feedback from employees.
• Support the broader HR function as needed.
