Placements24 is seeking a compassionate HR Officer to lead and evolve the Employee Wellness Program in Klerksdorp, North West. You will design, implement and manage wellness initiatives that improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being across the workforce.

The role requires 3–5 years HR experience in wellness, excellent communication, and the ability to engage with employees and management in a confidential, professional manner.

Qualificações

About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and proactive HR Officer to manage and enhance their Employee Wellness Program in Klerksdorp, North West . This role is dedicated to promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of all employees, thereby fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of wellness initiatives, including health screenings, mental health support, financial wellness workshops, and lifestyle programs. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive employee wellness strategy and calendar of events.
• Coordinate and promote wellness activities, such as health workshops, fitness challenges, and stress management programs.
• Liaise with external service providers and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) providers.
• Manage employee assistance programs, ensuring confidential support and resources are available.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify employee wellness priorities and tailor programs accordingly.

• Track and report on the effectiveness of wellness initiatives, using key metrics and employee feedback.
• Administer health and safety programs in conjunction with relevant departments.
• Maintain confidential employee health records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Contribute to the overall HR function, including generalist HR support as needed.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a significant focus on employee wellness, EAP management, or health promotion.
• Knowledge of wellness trends, mental health awareness, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to empathize with employees and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Experience in coordinating events and managing external vendors.
• A passion for promoting health and well-being in the workplace.
• Understanding of HR principles and practices is essential.
