• 5+ years in electrical maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of motors, generators, switchgear, control panels, and VFDs; safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
• Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure electrical systems and machinery meet safety and efficiency standards.
• Respond to breakdowns; lead troubleshooting and repairs.
• Manage spare parts inventory and stock levels.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations at Midrand site.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians; document maintenance records.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime.
