Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee electrical maintenance operations in Soweto, Gauteng. You will lead a team of apprentices and technicians, ensuring reliable and safe operation of all industrial electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in maintenance programs, troubleshooting, and safety compliance, with a proven track record in leadership and proactive maintenance
Qualifications
- Qualified Electrician with a Wireman's license.
- Minimum 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety standards.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs and diagnostics.
Responsabilités
- Supervise daily activities of electrical maintenance team, assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all electrical equipment.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of power distribution, motor controls, PLCs and instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement costs.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits of electrical systems.
