You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, develop proactive maintenance strategies, and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, with strong PLC/VFD and automation knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• High- and low-voltage electrical systems experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with safety standards (OHS Act and electrical regulations).
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in Pretoria.
• CMMS experience is a bonus.

Aufgaben

• Develop and manage electrical maintenance programs and strategies.
• Supervise and mentor electrical maintenance technicians.
• Perform root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement CAPAs.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and calibration of electrical machinery, control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for electrical maintenance.
• Participate in design reviews and commissioning of new electrical installations.
• Maintain maintenance records and generate performance reports.
• Seek continuous improvements in electrical system reliability and efficiency.
