Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an experienced Electrical Artisan Supervisor to lead a maintenance team at an FMCG plant in Pretoria. You will drive 24-hour electrical reliability, oversee preventative maintenance, and ensure safe, compliant work practices to meet specifications.

You will collaborate with stores, external service providers, and the Site Engineer to minimize downtime, manage spares, and uphold OHS/BCEA/LRA requirements while coaching the team in core electrical skills.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
N4 or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
Recognised and relevant Trade qualification is a must.
Minimum 7 years of FMCG plant electrical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of Electrical Artisans to ensure machine availability and safe production.
Execute preventative maintenance to maintain electrical reliability of all equipment.
Ensure compliance with OHS Act and related regulations.
Attend to priority repairs to support 24-hour operations.
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions with the Site Engineer.
Coordinate spare parts with stores, suppliers, and service providers.
Drive safety, risk, asset management, and ISO programs.
