Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to support industrial operations in Benoni. This hands-on role involves maintenance, calibration, and repair of electrical systems used in process control and automation within manufacturing and energy sectors.

The successful candidate will install, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and actuators while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
• Proficiency in calibrating and troubleshooting various instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level).

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, test, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and actuators.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and instrumentation issues in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations during maintenance and repair activities.
• Document all work performed, including calibration records and maintenance logs.
