Placements24 is seeking a proficient Electrical Instrumentation Engineer to join our industrial operations team in Polokwane. The role focuses on measurement, control, and automation of processes through the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control hardware.

You will work with PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs, ensure compliance with safety standards for hazardous areas, and collaborate with maintenance to optimize process control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control engineering.
• Proficiency with PLC programming software (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
• Experience with DCS, SCADA and field communication protocols (HART, Profibus).
• Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and intrinsic safety principles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
