Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Digital Learning Facilitator in Polokwane, Limpopo to drive the school’s digital learning initiatives. You will support educators in integrating technology, manage the LMS, and develop engaging online content for staff and students.

You will train staff, troubleshoot platform issues, and help students navigate digital resources while keeping records of sessions and usage. This role focuses on blended learning and online assessment support in a forward-thinking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an educational technology support or digital learning facilitation role.
• Proven experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas).
• Strong understanding of digital pedagogy and best practices for online learning.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and support both technical and non-technical users.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting common technical issues related to hardware and software.
• A patient and supportive attitude towards educators and students.
• Familiarity with various educational software and digital content creation tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the use of the school's LMS and other digital learning tools for students and educators.
• Provide training and ongoing professional development to staff on effective integration of digital tools and online pedagogy.
• Assist students with navigating digital learning platforms and accessing online resources.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital learning platforms and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with educators to develop and curate digital learning content, ensuring it is engaging and accessible.
• Monitor student engagement and progress within the digital learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in educational technology.
• Support the implementation of blended learning strategies and online assessment tools.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, support provided, and system usage.
