About the Role Our client, a growing online retailer of sustainable home goods, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented E-commerce Social Media Assistant to support their marketing efforts. This role offers a part-time, hybrid arrangement, requiring some in-office presence in Paarl, Western Cape , alongside remote work flexibility. You will assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content, community engagement, and basic performance tracking across platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The ideal candidate has a passion for sustainable living, a creative eye, and a foundational understanding of social media marketing principles. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Some experience or a strong demonstrated interest in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) and an eye for visual aesthetics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
