Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee and optimize our online retail platform from our Pretoria office. You will manage platform functionality, performance, and growth, working closely with development, marketing, and operations teams.

The role requires hands-on expertise in e-commerce technologies, analytics, and retail best practices to drive online sales, engagement, and retention.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the retail industry.
• Experience with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience with project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, CS, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the company's e-commerce platform.
• Oversee website design, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement new features, functionalities, and integrations.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and security, ensuring a stable and reliable online presence.
• Analyze e-commerce data, including sales, traffic, and customer behavior, to drive informed decisions and strategies.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales, customer engagement, and retention.
