Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Performance Analyst to join the Upington team. This role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on e-commerce operations and marketing initiatives to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will leverage data to provide actionable insights, develop dashboards, and support data-driven decision making across marketing, sales, and IT teams in a digital retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in web analytics tools and data visualization.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel/Sheets) for data manipulation.
• Understanding of e-commerce operations and core metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from e-commerce platforms, analytics, and marketing channels.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs like conversion, AOV, CLV, traffic sources, and ROI.
• Identify trends and insights to optimize website performance and marketing strategies.
• Conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate changes.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT to ensure data accuracy and implement data-driven strategies.
• Present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
