Placements24 is seeking an experienced Online Store Manager to lead and grow our client’s e‑commerce operations from Upington, Northern Cape. You will drive sales, manage inventory, optimize user experience, and coordinate with marketing, operations, and customer service to achieve growth targets.

The role requires a strong track record in online retail, proficiency with Shopify/Magento/WooCommerce, and excellent analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in e‑commerce management or online retail operations.
• Proven success in growing an online store and driving sales.
• Experience with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
• Proficiency in analyzing sales data, website analytics, and customer feedback.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the e‑commerce website, including product listings and promotions.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales, conversion rates, and average order value.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure stock availability and minimize stockouts.
• Collaborate with marketing on online campaigns, SEO, and social media to drive traffic and sales.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience from site navigation to post‑purchase support.
• Monitor website performance and analyze sales data for reporting.
• Manage relationships with third‑party vendors and service providers.
