Job summary

Sandton Retail Client in Johannesburg seeks an experienced E-commerce Manager with 4-5 years in online retail, digital marketing, and retail operations. You will drive a frictionless customer experience across online touchpoints and scale the brand through web optimization, ads, and inventory management.

Responsibilities include Shopify optimization, Takealot account management, POS integration with Retail Pro, and analytics-driven reporting.

Qualifications

Relevant Diploma or Certificate (advantageous).
4–5 years proven experience bridging online retail, e-commerce management, digital marketing, and retail operations.
Takealot Account Management experience.
Advanced proficiency with Shopify, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
Creative content production using Canva or Adobe Suite.
Deep understanding of multi-channel inventory control, warehousing logistics, and marketplace dynamics.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Marketplace Management
Manage and optimize the Shopify store for mobile-friendly design and current product listings.
Oversee website operations including payment gateways, apps, and inventory sync.
Manage Takealot marketplace account with regular stock replenishment and high seller health.
Lead POS, Inventory & Order Fulfilment integration with Retail Pro and syncing with Shopify.
Monitor stock movements to maintain balanced inventory across web channels.
Oversee end-to-end order fulfilment including returns and replacements.
Set up and optimize Meta and Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
Create digital promotional assets using Canva or Adobe Suite.
Provide analytics and financial reporting.
