Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Platform Manager & Digital Growth Lead to oversee our George, Western Cape operations. You will manage the e-commerce platform, drive traffic, optimize the customer journey, and lead growth initiatives across SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content strategies.

The role requires a strategic, data-driven leader with deep knowledge of UX/UI, analytics, and conversion rate optimization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in ecommerce leadership and digital growth.
• Proven ability to grow online sales and optimize platform performance.
• Strong expertise in SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media advertising.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and strategic development of the company's e-commerce platform(s).
• Drive online sales growth through digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and affiliate programs.
• Analyze website performance, user behavior, and sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute A/B testing plans to optimize website design, user experience, and conversion funnels.
• Manage product catalog, pricing strategies, and promotional activities on the e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with IT, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless platform functionality and customer experience.
• Stay updated on emerging e-commerce technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring profitable growth and ROI.
• Manage external agencies and vendors involved in website development, digital marketing, and analytics.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant online regulations and data privacy laws.
