Job summary

The Talent Room is currently recruiting an Internal Sales Administrator for a well-established supplier in Brackenfell, Cape Town. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service from enquiry to delivery, supporting the sales team, and maintaining organised records.

You will manage customer interactions via walk-in, phone, and email, provide product details and guidance, and ensure accurate processing of quotations and sales orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric is required; additional qualification in Sales/Business Admin/Customer Service is advantageous.
• Experience in Internal Sales or Sales Administration is advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in, telephonic and email customers professionally.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Provide product information and technical guidance where applicable.
• Resolve customer queries efficiently.
• Prepare quotations accurately and timeously.
• Process customer sales orders.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations.
• Convert enquiries into sales opportunities.
• Ensure all customer information is accurately maintained.
• Capture sales orders on the ERP system.
