Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of drilling fluids engineering experience or similar mud engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with solids control equipment and technologies.
• Ability to work in field and office with strong remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement drilling fluid programs tailored to well conditions.
• Supervise mud operations including mixing, circulation and solids control.
• Conduct routine testing of drilling fluid properties on-site and remotely.
• Analyze drilling fluid performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage inventory and procurement of drilling fluid additives and equipment.
• Prepare detailed reports on drilling fluid performance and recommendations.
