The role involves planning, executing, and optimizing drilling campaigns with field presence and remote technical support. You will liaise with field teams and onshore staff to deliver safe and efficient well construction.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in drilling engineering, strong leadership, and proficiency in drilling simulation tools, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of drilling engineering experience.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment, well control and directional drilling.
• Proficiency in drilling simulation and analysis software.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; travel to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drilling plans including wellbore trajectory and casing programs.
• Oversee drilling operations and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Manage relationships with drilling contractors and service providers.
• Perform real-time analysis of drilling data and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to optimize designs.
