Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology, and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and recommend drilling fluid systems tailored to specific well conditions and objectives.
• Supervise drilling fluids operations on rig sites, ensuring compliance with program specifications.
• Monitor drilling fluid properties and performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal conditions.
• Troubleshoot drilling fluid-related issues, such as lost circulation, wellbore instability, and formation damage.
• Manage inventory of drilling fluid materials and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
