East London Luxury Hotel is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms to lead the Front Office, Housekeeping and Concierge teams on-site in East London. The role focuses on guest service, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency to drive profitability across the Rooms Division.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in Rooms Division with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position, strong PMS proficiency, and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

Qualifications

• 6+ years progressive Rooms Division experience with ≥3 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in Front Office and Housekeeping operations
• Strong revenue management knowledge for Rooms Division
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and housekeeping software
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Willing to be based in East London and work on-site full-time

About the Role

Our client, a luxury hotel located in the scenic coastal city of East London , is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Rooms to lead their accommodation divisions. This on-site role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and profitability across the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Concierge departments. The Director of Rooms will be responsible for managing these teams, optimizing room occupancy and revenue, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of revenue management principles and their application to Rooms Division.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and housekeeping management software.
• A passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Ability to manage budgets and control expenses effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to East London and work full-time on-site.
