Placements24 is seeking an experienced Hospitality Cleaning Supervisor in East London to lead a housekeeping team across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house operations. You will implement cleaning schedules, monitor standards and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction with a strong focus on health and safety.

Our client, a prestigious hotel group operating in East London, Eastern Cape , is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Hospitality Cleaning Supervisor. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping and cleaning staff to deliver exceptional service.

• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Manage the inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient usage.
• Enforce all hotel policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations, within the housekeeping department.
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests or concerns related to room cleanliness or housekeeping services.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as Front Desk and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor for oneself and the team.
• Implement deep cleaning programs and special cleaning projects as required in Eastern Cape hotels.
• Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all cleaning equipment and machinery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or Housekeeping Supervisor within the hospitality industry.
• Thorough understanding of hotel cleaning standards, sanitation practices, and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
