Placements24 partners with a dynamic financial services firm in Vereeniging, Gauteng to hire a Senior Business Analyst. This hybrid role blends office collaboration with remote flexibility to drive digital transformation and deliver real business value.

You will bridge business needs and technical teams, define requirements, and support the implementation of new digital solutions and process improvements. A strategic thinker with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, CS, or related field.
5+ years as a BA with digital transformation focus in finance.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
Strong knowledge of digital technologies and trends in financial services.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Visio.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements for digital projects.
Translate requirements into functional specs and technical requirements.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops with cross-functional teams.
Create process flows, use cases, and user stories.
Collaborate with IT, UX/UI, and QA teams.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Support testing strategies including UAT.
Manage project scope and changes to align with objectives.
Contribute to business cases and feasibility studies.
Ensure clear communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
