About the Role

Our client, a leading financial services organisation with operations in Nelspruit , is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive their digital transformation initiatives. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely combined with necessary on-site collaboration at our Nelspruit offices. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, eliciting requirements, defining project scope, and ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record in managing complex business analysis tasks within the financial sector. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, including IT, product development, and operations, to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption. This is a critical role in shaping the future of our client's digital presence and operational efficiency in the Mpumalanga region.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for digital transformation projects.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with IT teams, designers, and stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and gain consensus.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
• Support the development and execution of test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist in project planning, scope definition, and change management activities.
• Ensure that delivered solutions meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical development teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proven experience in digital transformation projects and requirements elicitation techniques.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
