Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, enhancing strategic planning and execution in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA. The role emphasizes delivering maximum value by aligning projects with organizational objectives and working in a hybrid office/remote setup.

You will elicit and document requirements, translate them into functional designs, run workshops, model processes, write user stories, and support UAT with development teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Port Elizabeth or the Eastern Cape.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical designs.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop process models, use cases, and user stories.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, QA, and project managers.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support system implementation.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to strategic planning by identifying business needs and opportunities.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
