Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Vereeniging, Gauteng to bridge business needs and technology in the Banking & Finance sector. You will gather requirements, model processes, and translate them into IT specifications for delivery.

The role centers on banking operations, system analysis, and delivering complex projects. You will mentor juniors, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and support post-implementation success in a hybrid work setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst in Banking & Finance.
• Experience gathering requirements and modeling processes.
• Strong understanding of banking products and operations.
• Proficient in UML and BPMN; familiar with agile and waterfall.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate needs into functional and non-functional specs for IT.
• Facilitate workshops with business users and technical teams.
• Analyze processes and identify improvement/automation opportunities.
• Create user stories, use cases, and process diagrams.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and testers.
• Support UAT and system implementation; provide post-implementation support.
• Mentor junior analysts and share knowledge.
