Job summary

Recruit-It is seeking a meticulous Credit Controller in Gauteng to manage an allocated debtors portfolio and drive on-time collections. You will monitor balances, apply timely follow-ups, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with internal teams to resolve disputes.

The role requires at least five years in credit control, a Matric/Grade 12, and proficiency in Sage and Excel. You will contribute to cash flow forecasting and ensure adherence to payment terms in a deadline-driven

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric certificate is essential.
A qualification in Credit Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit control and debt collection.
Proven track record of managing a debtors portfolio.
Experience with Sage and Excel for reconciliations and reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage an allocated debtors portfolio and ensure collections within terms.
Proactively follow up on overdue accounts and secure payment commitments.
Allocate receipts, reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records.
Resolve billing and account queries with internal departments; escalate when needed.
Provide regular updates on expected payments to support cash flow forecasting.
Report on collections performance, age analysis and accounts at risk.
