Job summary

Discovery Limited seeks a dynamic telesales professional for the Discovery Connect Sales call centre in Durban. You will identify and convert sales opportunities, answer inbound calls promptly, and perform required outbound calls with accuracy in records and follow-ups.

The role focuses on conducting Financial Needs Analysis, meeting Insure sales targets, and maintaining service levels while working in a fast-paced call centre environment.

Qualifications

• Matric required; 2+ years sales experience preferred in outbound telesales.
• Knowledge of Discovery Insure is an advantage.
• Proficiency with basic PC tools (Email, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities.
• Respond to inbound calls promptly and make outbound calls.
• Coordinate administration for own queue.
• Conduct Financial Needs Analysis.
• Achieve Insure sales targets and quality targets.

Key purpose

This position is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre, and reports to the sales team leader. The successful individual will be required to conduct Discovery Insure telesales.

Qualification & Experience

• Matric
• At least 2 years sales experience, preferably in an outbound telesales environment

• NQF5 and RE5 qualification
