Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Cybersecurity Sales Specialist to drive Cisco Security opportunities in South Africa, collaborating with sales teams and partners to identify and close deals while applying deep knowledge of the cybersecurity market.

The role requires consultative selling, strong presentation skills and a proven track record in security sales within South Africa; a business diploma/degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the South Africa cybersecurity market.
• Ability to sell in a consultative style and discuss customer requirements.
• Experience with security solutions (Next Gen Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Email security, Web security, VPN) is highly desired.
• Established network of contacts in Security sales in South Africa is a plus.
• Business diploma/degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sales opportunities within existing clients and qualify opportunities, and priorities activities.
• Develop a sales plan for the assigned territory with the field sales team.
• Leverage partner base and work with Partner sales teams to win new business deals.
• Drive sales campaigns into target prospect base and bring in new revenue.
• Forecast revenue and report sales activities to management.
• Attend industry forums, tradeshows and events as required.
