Job summary

Concentrix in Cape Town is hiring a Customer Service Advisor on an internationally innovative campaign. This on-site role offers a base salary of R10 000 and the opportunity to build meaningful connections with customers, advisers, and colleagues.

You will support Financial Advisers, work across multiple systems, and contribute to improving the customer journey while delivering empathetic service and personalisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 – essential.
• 12 months international technical advisor/chat experience OR 6 months financial/back-office/chat experience.
• Customer service experience – advantageous.
• Clear criminal and credit record – essential.
• Ability to work across multiple systems.
• Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively.
• B2 English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Financial Advisers and customers, delivering an industry-leading level of customer service while helping Financial Advisers, customers, and clients achieve their strategies and objectives.
• Support your Team Leader and wider leadership team in understanding and improving the customer journey.
• Take ownership of the work you are trained in within Group Customer Service.
• Assist colleagues, customers, and advisers with professionalism and care.
• Work as part of the Operational teams, keeping customers at the heart of everything we do.
• Demonstrate awareness of team measures and how they are used to understand and improve the customer journey.
• Identify opportunities for further training and development.
• Attend and contribute to team huddles, including discussing customer requests and any challenges that may impact customer expectations.
• Own requests and enquiries from end to end, minimizing hand-offs and delivering a personal service.
• Continuously build knowledge to provide support to advisers, clients, and colleagues, anticipating needs and finding solutions to challenges.
• Learn from feedback to improve service and collaborate with colleagues to meet shared business goals.
• Identify ways to continue improving how we work.
• Process all customer transactions and enquiries accurately and promptly within agreed timescales.
• Handle customer calls with skill, accuracy, and personalisation, ensuring calls are answered promptly.
