Customer Service Sales Advisor – Cape Town (On-Site)

As a Customer Service Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing customers across a range of policy enquiries. You'll be working on-site from our vibrant Cape Town office, where creativity meets cutting-edge technology. This Role Is a Great Match If You Have:

• Minimum of Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
• 1 year of international retention and upselling experience
• Minimum B2 English language level, strong email writing skills, and computer literacy
• A clear criminal and credit record
• The ability to provide references from the last 2 years of employment
• Regulatory awareness, including familiarity with FCA regulations
• Flexibility to work shift patterns

What You'll Do in This Role

Key Contribution Areas:

1. Handle inbound sales calls, guiding customers through the full end-to-end process of purchasing new policies.
2. Manage queries from existing policyholders, including policy amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
3. Ensure all customer interactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
4. Deliver personalised conversations by adapting your approach to individual customer needs and circumstances.
5. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and outcomes.
6. Support growth ambitions within Home Protect by consistently meeting service and quality standards.
7. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and leaders to maintain a customer-focused, high-performing team environment.

Skills Required

You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the following:

• Competence across a broad range of processes
• Basic complaint handling, including first points of contact and appropriate logging of complaints
• Risk event handling and logging where appropriate, with an understanding of the Quality Checking process
• Active and positive contributions to team huddles and meetings

• Strong communication skills when engaging with customers
