Job summary

Pepkor Lifestyle in Limpopo seeks a diligent Cashier to join our retail team. You will be the primary contact at till points, processing POS transactions accurately and maintaining store security standards while delivering friendly customer service.

During slower periods you will support cellular, credit, and service administration, assist with cash ups, and ensure compliance with financial procedures. The ideal candidate has Grade 12, 2–3 years in retail, and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• 2–3 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Practical experience in financial administration or cash handling roles.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel).
• SAP experience is advantageous; familiarity with cellular and credit vetting processes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process all point-of-sale transactions and cash ups in compliance with policies.
• Capture manual invoices electronically within 24 hours and attach invoices to book copies.
• Promote add-on sales on all customer purchases.
• Maintain TV licence registers and process TV licence purchases.
• Balance cash ups and floats with supervision and secure floats at shift end.
