Pepkor Lifestyle in South Africa is seeking a diligent Cashier to join our retail team. You will be the primary contact at tills, processing point-of-sale transactions accurately while maintaining store security standards.

During transactional downtime, you will also provide support in cellular, credit, and service administration, promote add-on sales, assist customers, and help ensure compliance with consumer protection and store policies.

Competenze

• Grade 12/Matric certificate required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Practical experience in financial administration or cash handling.
• Basic computer literacy, including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.
• Understanding of financial compliance in retail.

Mansioni

• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Balance cash ups and floats with supervision.
• Attach invoices to manual files within 24 hours.
• Promote add-on sales and up-sell when possible.
• Maintain till security and sanitize workstations.
• Assist with cellular, credit, and value-added services.
